Crufts 2012 Gun Dog Demonstration

2012 was our 12th year at Crufts and this year we were very proud to not only present in the KC Activities Ring but in the Main Arena too – you will see the 25 minute video presentation below:

During the demonstration we try to give an overview of what Gun Dogs do out in the field, all of which is included in our Gun Dog Training Holidays. The most popular dog and most entertaining was our little cocker- Secret – she loves an audience and brings the whole event alive.

In the ring with me were some friends who are Dogs for Life members and come on the dog holidays too – throughout the summer they also come to our Activity weeks, which includes Agility, Cycle riding, walks on the beach etc. This keeps the dogs active and fit and gives them some fun time with us throughout the year.

Just because they are gundogs doesn't mean they cant have fun either – all of our dogs are brought on from puppies using reward based methods in a kind and instinctively positive way. This has resulted in happy team work, dogs that want to do more and dogs that have gone on to win Working Tests and of course Field Trials.
